Another Striker Linked To Gunners

Obafemi Martins is being linked with a move to Arsenal Football Club as the replacement of want-stay-or-out striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Emmanuel Adebayor was expected to leave The Gunners during the summer transfer window, with AC Milan and Barcelona both willing to pay around £25million for the Togolese hitman.

Prof. Wenger wants to make sure he has someone to lined up before considering letting his top scorer leave, and he is again being linked with a move for Martins.

The Nigerian international reportedly has a £13million clause in his existing Newcastle United contract if he demands a move, and this is well within the Emirates Stadium budget.

  2. I have never understood why Le Boss rates (or is reported to have rated) this guy so high. I've watched him play for Newcastle and have yet to see anything that suggests he's Arsenal caliber. Of course, I promise to eat those words if he comes in and scores 20+ goals.

  3. he is not great like all of us think.maybe his style of play didn't suit newcastle. that's why he cant came up with 20+ goal in the first season like torres.torres has his own class,no wonder!
