Club From Greece Ready for Gunners' Old-School Man

Greek newspaper SportDay reported that, Pananthiakos are ready to line up a ₤2million bid for Arsenal midfielder Gilberto, who spent most of last season on the bench due to the impressive partnership between Mathieu Flamini and Cesc Fabregas.

The Brazilian international may be given the opportunity to reclaim his place now that Flamini has left for AC Milan, but it is more likely that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will either draft in fresh talent or promote the likes of Denilson and Abou Diaby.

Gilberto is unwilling to spend another season on the sidelines, however, leaving the door open for a summer switch.

Newly installed Pana boss Henk ten Cate will also seek to take a piece of Arsenal’s cross-town rivals Chelsea with him to Athens after being sacked by the Blues in May.

So,what do you think? DO we need to keep this SENIOR at Emirates Stadium or we can let him go to play for his remaining carrier.
