Eduardo Have To Wait. ..But Until When?

Arsenal suffers early injury setback after Eduardo da Silva was ruled out of the opening two months of the season. The Croatia striker is on the way back from a badly-broken leg and had hoped to be playing again in August. But it is understood he is unlikely to resume training before the end of September.

That places even more importance on Emmanuel Adebayor's future. The Togo striker met boss Arsene Wenger yesterday and held talks over a new pay deal. Both Milan and Barcelona have been heavily linked with the striker.

If Adebayor were to leave, it would leave Arsenal with only Robin Van Persie, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner as recognised strikers, although neither Walcott nor Van persie are out-and-out centre forwards.

  2. Some were saying Eduardo would never play again. Now it appears that he'll be back in two months. How is this a setback?!?!? This is a quicker than expected recovery!

  3. Allright Leslie, I'm wrong..It is not a setback. It was a GOOD NEWS for us!=)

But,early of the season we can't see him play. On top of that,we are lack of great finisher during that time. Am I wrong to say 'setback'?
