Gunners Suffers Early Setback

Arsenal getting another bad news yesterday after Tomas Rosicky admitted he will miss the start of the Premier League campaign. The Czech midfielder has not played since January and missed Euro 2008 campaign will miss early league games and the Champions League qualifying round.

It is a blow for Arsene Wenger, who has lost a trio of midfielders this summer in Mathieu Flamini, Gilberto Silva and Alexander Hleb.

Wenger was hoping Rosicky would form part of his early plans but the Czech captain said:

"I know I'll miss the start of the club season. According to plans, I should be back on the field in September.''
