Will Van Persie Go Out From Arsenal?

Robin van Persie is wanted by Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.

The Italian champions are preparing a £25million bid for the Arsenal striker who is currently away on World Cup duty with Holland.

Inter boss Mourinho wants to transform the club that has won four consecutive Serie A titles into champions of Europe.

He sees Van Persie, 25, as a key recruit.

Van Persie is currently negotiating a new contract with the Gunners.

He has two years remaining on his current deal, but the Arsenal hierarchy are keen to seal a new deal now rather than allow time to go by and face the threat of him leaving as a free agent in 2011.

It looks like being a crunch summer for the Dutchman as he attempts to resolve his long term future.

Inter know that they will face a massive challenge in prising van Persie out of the Emirates. His wife Bouchra is expecting their second child and the family are settled in London.”

This transfer news will bring pros and cons for Arsenal's fans. The good is,we sell van Persie and buy another powerful striker who are in the same market level with him like David Villa, Samuel Eto'o and Ibrahimovic. But the bad thing would come if we sell Van Persie because he's the only striker that can score goal for Gunners despite of Adebayor and Bendtner. If Wenger can't get replacement for him,Arsenal will suffer another unsharp-forward season like last season.

So,what say you GOONERS??

  1. Van Persie should leave. Arsene get a world class striker.

  2. van is the man he must stay

  3. Van persie knows we have a midfield that will never win anything, that's why he hasn't signed a new contract and wants out, he wants to win something.

  4. -they need NOT buy any other striker this summer....if Arsenal is lookin to sell jersey's to make $ off of ppular names, then yes, they should buy the likes of Imbra or Villa or Eto'o...etc...but we shouldnt but the bulk of our hope for this club into one man....sell RVP & Ade for an approx combined total of 50-60 Mil pounds & purchase some phyiscal & skillful mid-fielders, CB's & wing backs...scoring goals is usually NOT a consistant issue with the amount they allow in & the kind they allow in...they dont need another striker! Theres Arshavin, Eduardo, Vela, Bendtnar, and even Simpson...more than enough fire power upfront....They need to address the lack of depth at the back & in the middle...this interest in the Ajax CB is evidence that AW is feeling the same...Tony Adams, being 6 ft 3, think that the 5ft 11 CB is too short, which he has a valid point, the likes of Rio, & Vidic who did so well last season is what Arsenal should try to emmulate...but never the less is the professor believes in someone then so do i

  5. good article, please add my YM ID : tw.paul, to talk about Arsenal
