Is Eboue Worth for Money? Fiorentina Wants Him

Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle has expressed a desire to sign Emmanuel Eboue from Arsenal.

The Ivory Coast international emerged as a transfer target for Fiorentina earlier in the summer when the Gunners were keen to take Felipe Melo in the opposite direction.

A swap deal involving the two players was proposed by the Serie A side but ultimately failed to materialise, with Melo securing a move to Juventus.

Fiorentina have now rekindled their interest in the 26-year-old, although Della Valle admits it will be difficult to prise him away from Emirates Stadium.

"Arsenal's Eboue is a really good player and it won't be easy to take him to Florence," he told the Italian press.

  1. Although how much I dislike Eboue's style of play, we need him for depth and versatility to cover Sagna when he gets injured from time to time and the right wing position. The amount of money suggested for Eboue will have little impact to Arsenal. Anything above 10M would be a good offer to be considered but any less is not worth it. FIDO

As much as Eboue is a sell out at times, lets remember when he is fully fit he gives us much needed defensive options. The record we set in champions league was when he was the right full back. I think the purchase of Sagna who is a good player made him lose confidence. Remember he pushed out one of Arsenal's great Lauren.

  3. We should be thinking a lot , compare the good and bad result . In my idea , it's perfect to wash the bad attitude player out of team ( include Kolo ). I think the feeling to fight on the pitch of youngster may cover the defect that Ade, EBU and Kolo left. But by the way ,Le boss should accept the aggressive and feeling to battle of youngster may not the beautiful game that he wants but so beautiful when the team's win. Sometime the power are beautiful esp when it's win.
