Finland Wonderkid Praises Theo Walcott

Two years living and working with Theo Walcott taught Tim Sparv two things: Don't leave him one-on-one with the full-back and don't give him the remote control.

Finland's U21 captain Sparv knows England pair Walcott and Martin Cranie from their time together at Southampton's Academy when the trio lived together in an old hotel, renovated to house the club's scholars.

'I know them both well,' said 22-year-old Sparv as he prepared for a reunion in the opening game of the European U21 Championships.

'You could always tell Theo was special with his pace and technique but I've watched him a lot in the Champions League and the Premier League and I'm amazed how well he has done.

'As a housemate, he might have watched a bit too much EastEnders for my liking but he was quite tidy.

'He was always down to earth, despite his success. That's what makes him a good friend.'

They were all involved in the Southampton team beaten by Ipswich in the 2005 Youth Cup final but Walcott joined Arsenal in January 2006.

Everybody knows what Walcott can do in the field. He's so talented and has the brightest future in the arena of English football. So Arsene should know how to use this fella into the eyes of the world. Go Theo!! All the Gooners always stand at your back. No Doubt!!

Will Van Persie Go Out From Arsenal?

Robin van Persie is wanted by Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.

The Italian champions are preparing a £25million bid for the Arsenal striker who is currently away on World Cup duty with Holland.

Inter boss Mourinho wants to transform the club that has won four consecutive Serie A titles into champions of Europe.

He sees Van Persie, 25, as a key recruit.

Van Persie is currently negotiating a new contract with the Gunners.

He has two years remaining on his current deal, but the Arsenal hierarchy are keen to seal a new deal now rather than allow time to go by and face the threat of him leaving as a free agent in 2011.

It looks like being a crunch summer for the Dutchman as he attempts to resolve his long term future.

Inter know that they will face a massive challenge in prising van Persie out of the Emirates. His wife Bouchra is expecting their second child and the family are settled in London.”

This transfer news will bring pros and cons for Arsenal's fans. The good is,we sell van Persie and buy another powerful striker who are in the same market level with him like David Villa, Samuel Eto'o and Ibrahimovic. But the bad thing would come if we sell Van Persie because he's the only striker that can score goal for Gunners despite of Adebayor and Bendtner. If Wenger can't get replacement for him,Arsenal will suffer another unsharp-forward season like last season.

So,what say you GOONERS??

Another Target-Man Link To Gunners

ARSENAL are favourites to beat Manchester City to the signature of Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko as an £8million replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor. (Mirror)

Bosnian striker Dzeko, 23, hit 26 goals in 32 games in helping fire Wolfsburg to the Bundesliga title and Arsenal have registered their interest with his club.

Gunners coach Boro Primorac has been out to watch the 6ft 3in target man and has given glowing reports to Arsene Wenger.

City boss Mark Hughes has also had Dzeko watched and feels he would be the perfect striker, much cheaper than Carlos Tevez or Samuel Eto'o.

Arsenal will auction off Togo striker Adebayor this summer. He is a target for AC Milan while Chelsea's new boss Carlo Ancelotti is also an admirer.

In the search for a cut-price replacement Wenger rates Blackburn's Roque Santa Cruz and Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh. But Dzeko is now top of the list.

Wenger has also been checking on Juventus's Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Scouts have given glowing reports on the Italy international, 24, who can play at left-back or in central defence. Arsenal also want Fulham's Brede Hangeland and Ajax centre-half Thomas Vermaelen.

Among those heading for the exit at City is midfielder Gelson Fernandes. The Swiss star is unhappy at being ignored by Hughes.

So,wanna see how great Dzeko is? Let see this video. Enjoy!! Give your opinion about him too..

Arsenal Keep On Tracking Boro's Striker

Are Arsenal Football Club set to renew their interest in Tuncay?

It is clear Arsene Wenger needs to bolster his squad ahead of the 2009/10 season, after a third successive campaign without a piece of silverware to show for their efforts.

It is being rumoured that the French coach could pick up his interest in Tuncay, who he was interested in signing some years ago when the forward played for Fenerbahce.

The 27-year-old is certain to leave Middlesbrough this summer following their relegation from the Premier League, and the Riverside Stadium club would want at least £5million.

Now,let see what Tuncay can do on the field. Enjoy!! =)

Arsenal Aim For In-Demand Defender

Udinese defender Cristian Zapata claimed Arsenal are among the clubs interested in acquiring his services this summer.

The 22-year-old has made 17 league starts for Udinese this season and his performances for the Bianconeri have not gone unnoticed.

"Juventus, Fiorentina, Milan, Arsenal and Villarreal have requested information about me," said Zapata.

"There are many teams that are keen to sign me but an official offer has not been made so far.

"I think if a good offer arrives then Udinese will have to consider it. But the club don't need to sell me immediately."

Udinese reportedly turned down a £9.5million bid from Arsenal for Zapata last summer.

The Colombia international joined the Italian outfit in 2005 from home club Deportivo Cali.

He is under contract with Udinese until June 2013.
