Samir Nasri Out for A Month

Arsenal have confirmed that Samir Nasri requires minor surgery on a knee injury and is expected to be sidelined for around a month.

The Frenchman sustained the injury in the Gunners' opening Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield.

The player, who has looked impressive in pre-season and against Liverpool, will undergo the operation on Wednesday.

There is better news on the injury front for the Gunners though, with defender Johan Djourou having recovered from a hamstring injury and available to deputise for the suspended Laurent Koscielny this weekend.
